Alright, I know everyone hates rules, but they are necessary to make the site run as smoothly as possible. So please just read them all.
No Godmodding.
For those of you who don't know what that is, it is controlling someone else's character in your post.
No Powerplaying. Face it, you will get hit by spells sometimes, you can't dodge or counter every single one. And you cannot say that your spell automatically hit your opponent, that is their choice.
Post in third person.
Post often.
Your signature may be no wider than 550 pixels! Or else it will stretch out the page, and not make me happy.
No anime for your character. Use a real person!
Every single post that every single person makes must be at least four lines! Lines. Not sentences. Lines.
No Spamming.
Alright, I am going to be big and mean on this one because it is one of my personal biggest pet peeves. Spelling, grammar, and capitalization. There is a spell check, use it! Use proper punctuation! And capitalize things that should be, and don't capitalize things that shouldn't be! It's not hard.
Use real names for your character. I don't want to see any potterfan121 or anything like that. Have your profile show the name of your character, capitalized and with a last name. Like Hermione Granger.
Don't use a canon name. Face it, you're not related to one of the canon characters! Be original, come up with your own name!
At the bottom of your application, in bold and underlined, write... I read and understand the rules.
No Double Posting. Modify, don't post again.
Veela's, Werewolves, and other magical creatures that you want to be, need to be cleared through an administrator. There is a thread in the rules board for special magical abilities, check it out if you want to be one. There is a very limited amount.
No graphic content. People at Hogwart's will not be having sex, it just isn't going to happen.
Applications must be at least started within seven days after account activation.
I will allow you to have only two characters for now! And they must have their own, separate accounts.
There is important information regarding your application's acceptance hidden within the rules. Highlight them to find it out.
Staff members have the right to delete a character at any moment, so follow the rules!
